Order Status...

Not sure if this is the appropriate place, since I have not received a response to my email from customer service. Therefore, here goes.

I had placed pre-orders back on 12/26/2008. I have not yet received the items ordered over a year ago. They are as follows:

Order #3542 (Preorder)
Order Date: Friday 26 December, 2008
1 x EVOLUTION (EVO) CAUCASIAN BODY
4 x EVALUTION (EVA) CAUCASIAN BODY
1 x FEMALE BIKER BOOTS (non pre-order item)

Order #3526 (Preorder)
Order Date: Friday 26 December, 2008
1 x KUROIKAGE: 12 INCH FIGURE
2 x OTAKU 1.0 CAUCASIAN BODY VER. 2

Would appreciate if customer service can advise on when they will be shipped, and if not, I would expect a full refund + INTEREST for this long wait (grin).

You're demanding/wanting interest for waiting for a pre-order?

Let me guess . . . maybe you're the kind of customer who'll demand that a company completely compensate his order with shipping both ways if you receive a wrong item and also demand that you be allowed to keep the incorrect item shipped and also demand the correct item be free of charge?

Tell me how much Triad Toys charged you and I'll refund you the amount you paid and simply take your order as my own.

Obviously you have no sense of humor or couldn't interpret it. Yeah, you can GRIN your own @$$ all you want. It's not happen for you.

But seriously, if you had to wait this long wouldn't anyone be a little upset, after they charged the card for $400+? Just venting my frustration. Oh wait, you must be different.

Markus, I understand your frustration and trust me when I say that I feel what you feel times ten. The Evo and Evas are very close to production and the main cause for the delays is that we continually try to better the end product. I personally do not want to see another event like the first round of Otakus happen because we didn't spend enough time testing the end product. Unlike most parts, the body is the one key element to every figure and it takes much more time to implement and fix (regardless of how minor the change is). If you have seen the Alpha bodies in action, you can expect the same level of quality and ingenuity in design. The Alpha body we actually spent more time developing than the Evo/Evas, but they don't get as much press for some reason. Anyways, Helga is shipping soon so you'll see how much of a difference it makes when you put more time and effort into a design. We're almost there.

Yes, I know what you mean. By the time I receive them I'll probably be too old to play with them. All joking aside, I guess I've waited this long and with all the enhancements they will be making, it should be perfect! I'd like to place more orders for the other pre-orders but because of this its preventing me from doing so.

I understand what you guys mean entirely. I also know that preorders and the extended wait for it is certainly causing us much grief - not to mention upset collectors and sales of other items. We do try our best to make sure any problems are ironed out. As evidenced by our last few figures released, the wait times are much less and we don't list any items for preorder until we know that they are close to shipping or there are no more potential pitfalls with delays anymore. I truly appreciate your guys' patience and it's also one of the main factors why we want to get things perfect. Could you imagine if we released the figures knowing very well that problems will occur just to make a promised ship date? There would be more upset fans if there were more problems after the release. I don't want to see it going either way, but I can tell you that we've made many strides in design and production this past year. When Helga is released on the Alpha body in February, you can mark my words about design and execution of the Alpha body. We're really proud of how it turned out.
