Roy,
I just confirmation a little bit ago for my refill order for Perfection Murderess, Raven Headsculpts and bodies as well as a couple of those original release bodies with the headsculpts. My order is set to be in my hands on the February 11th. I am pretty confident that it arrive at that time.

If anyone is ever looking for anything from TTL that I may not have, let me know...I can order it for you. I only stock what I think will be more popular at this time but I am open to any other items that you may see and want to get.

I visit 3 or 4 boards all related to our hobby, and Bad Dealer alerts with Legends in the title are on every one of them. I have had good experiences with them but at the same time I've had some awful business transactions as well. The owner of legends and merit sponsored a contest on another board in 2002 2003 promising to supply $500.00 in prizes. Everything went great right up until it came time for the winners to claim their winnings, and then it fell apart. legends claimed no knowledge of the contest and refused to honor the prizes. Multiple E Mails with the Owner of merit/ legends went unanswered and months later when he finally did get back to us he promised he'd get it fixed, and never did.

To keep our agreement with the prize winners,I ended up buying the prizes from Echobasetoys out of my own pocket 2-3 months after the contest was over.Echobasetoys were fantastic and had the prizes I purchased shipped out in a few days and contest participants started to received them the week after that. That's how it should have been with legends and never was. Oh well.

Now comes the funny stuff. 5-6 months later after we had posted this whole sorry affair on three different board with details and contact info for the owner of legends/merit, some of the prizes promised finally arrived at the winners homes! But not all of them. Legends/Merit never offered an apology, never offered to fulfill their commitment and not once ever offered to pay me the money I paid out to cover there screw up.

Anthony - Tony is the owner of Merit/ Legends and is now embarking into 1/6th manufacturing with either *TTL or Toy city as his house brand*, I'm not certain which. I've bought from them since this fiasco, and haven't had any issues, but many folks on different boards are still having problems with legends, so be careful.

Just my .02 cents worth.

* Edit: add note: Chad has found out that Neither TTL or Toys city is a merit/ Tony Chin owned business. Distributing the product looks to be the limit of the relationship.

Thanks for the information about Merit/Legends...Information like that is important to everyone in the 1/6 hobby.

As far as Merit/Legends going in with TTL: I don't think that is true, but I WILL find out. I am leaning towards the Toy City line.

Customer service is very important these days...I know from time to time it can get pretty hectic...but if you are going to take on a big part of the hobby, you better be able to handle it completely and efficiently.

I hope thus far...I have given everyone the best service I can offer. Suggestions are always welcome....

I just got an email from TTL on this speculation and according to them, this is false. They aren't working with Merit/Legends to do this....

Thanks Chad, I appreciate the correct information. I'll make sure this gets passed on to the folks who brought this up. I should know better at my age to believe rumors without proof.

These guys have the blonde otaku 1.0 up on ebay. I asked them whether or not it was from the initial shipment, opaque face, or second shipment, translucent face.....they couldn't tell me what they had.

They have a pair of boots, supposedly in stock, that I want but don't know whether or not to risk it.

dolenmiriel,
If you are unsure about it...you can always get this one. I have bought from frodo several times and have had no issues..

So Frodo is their Ebay store?

If so I would say your chances are better buying through Ebay because now they are getting Ebay rules applied to them and not just their "whatever we want" company rules.

You're probably safe buying from them through Ebay.

Nancy, are you just wanting the head or the entire body? I bought just the head of eBay many moons back and put it on an original Otaku from the first run. PM me either way, I can remove the head or send you the entire lady.

Hmmmn,
I can't say anything bad about them as the only order I ever put in with them was a few weeks ago when someone posted a link her and I saw Rosanna Joenes marked down to 20 so I ordered one and a MiL SOCOM rifle set. got both within a week safe and sound. I guess the Internet Gods were watching out for me. :cheers2:
