Triad Toys will be attending the New York Toy Fair and we will be closed from February 15 through the 17, 2010. The New York Toy Fair is the largest gathering of industry professionals in the United States with over 20,000 attendees. We will be at booth 4950 so come by and say "hello" if you are able to attend the show.

Following numerous requests by collectors, Triad Toys has launched a limited number of the much anticipated female Alpha bodies for sale. As you may have read from our previous previews on the Alpha body, it features a new modular system on body parts, backwards compatibility with all Triad bodies, prone sniper positions, a new adaptive joint system that will work with about every female action figure body on the market, and best of all, it has over 38 points of articulation, making it our most articulated action figure body ever! The construction on the bodies are extremely sturdy and with the new modular system of limbs, it is able to adapt to any new parts released on the Evalution (EVA) and supports new upgrades with simplicity. Be sure to watch our video preview on the Youtube Channel to see why we are so excited about these bodies!
Releasing first are the Caucasian skintone bodies with various configurations, as well as separate hand sets, feet sets, and shoe sets to please about every collector and customizer of the 1/6th hobby. DEXTER 1/6 SCALE COLLECTIBLE FIGURES COMING!
As some of you may have read from ICV2's update (http://www.icv2.com/articles/news/16437.html), Triad Toys has secured the Dexter licensing for toys and collectibles. From the Showtime Press Release. . .
"Triad Toys is developing a limited edition collectible DEXTER figure, with over 35 points levels of articulation and exact replica accessories. The product will be produced in an initial run of 1000 and will be available for sale online for an estimated MSRP of $119.99 starting first quarter 2010. Subsequent characters will be released following DEXTER."

We would like to thank everyone for your feedback and suggestions. A large part of our growth is a direct result of collector's comments, suggestions, feedback and criticisms. If you have not already done so, do check out our fan forum (to to Home/Stay Connected/ Forum) and let us know your thoughts and comments. Many of your suggestions for video tutorials and reviews have prompted us to launch the Triad Toys Youtube Channel. While only the Alpha Female body preview is up currently, we will be adding many more videos in the coming months and any suggestions or comments are greatly welcomed. We plan to post more product previews, in-depth interviews with the creative staff, licensors, as well as how-to tutorials and product features. THE ALPHA BODY REVEALED - Friday 15 January, 2010

"What, another body?" One of the most frequent questions we get when Triad announces a new figure body is "why?" If you count all of the various bodies that are out on the market now, the ones in development, and the ones soon to be released, you'll find that there are no less than 8 different types. So "why" do you ask? Because as much as we would like, not all men (and women) are created equal. Not everyone is exactly 6 feet tall and have the body of a Goddess, nor do they have orange skintones.
The Alpha body is a hybrid Otaku and Eva body. If the Otaku body was made for very little posing and all for looks and the Eva is made for both looks and articulation, then the Alpha is made for some extreme posing! With over 38 points of articulation, completely modular and removable limbs, backwards compatibility on parts, and magnetized feet for use with the Bullet Time stands, the Alpha body is sure to turn some heads.
Made with one of the strongest ABS and nylon joints around, the Alpha body is the body when it comes to action figure poses. But apart from handling virtually any pose, the most exciting feature is certainly the ability to customize the body with upcoming body parts. Whether it's a larger or smaller chest plate, a different headsculpt, handsculpt, or feet, or whether you want longer or shorter legs or arms. . . or even arms and legs from the Eva body, it's completely customizable!
